Brutalist coffee table designed and made by Paul Kingma, The Netherlands 1988.
The black heavy and thick concrete top rests on a metal base that is black lacquered. Beautiful composition of brown slate, gem stones, metal and brass makes this table a real work of art. This table is signed by Paul Kingma ’88 and it is in good original condition.
Paul Kingma was well known for his architectural tables that pay a tribute to the riches of Nature by traveling extensively in search of rare materials, whether raw or industrially produced. He combines recourse to materials used in architecture like stone, metal and concrete, with rich varied materials as brass, copper, glass or ceramic.
All his tables are unique and one of a kind.
