The heavy and thick concrete top rests on two metal sheets that are black lacquered. Beautiful composition of different colors of slate, gem stones, metal and brass makes this table a real work of art. This table is signed by Paul Kingma ’89 and it is in excellent original condition.
Paul Kingma († 2013) was well known for his architectural tables that pay a tribute to the riches of Nature by traveling extensively in search of rare materials, whether raw or industrially produced. He combines recourse to materials used in architecture like slate stone, metal and concrete, with rich varied materials as brass, copper, glass or ceramic.
All his tables are unique and one of a kind.
