
Brutalist coffee table designed and made by Paul Kingma, The Netherlands 1989.
The black/blue colored heavy and thick concrete top rests on two metal bases that are black lacquered. Beautiful composition of black/blue slate, stones, copper and brass makes this table a real work of art. This table is signed by Paul Kingma ’89 and it is in very good original condition.
Paul Kingma was well known for his architectural tables that pay a tribute to the riches of Nature by traveling extensively in search of rare materials, whether raw or industrially produced. He combines recourse to materials used in architecture like stone, metal and concrete, with rich varied materials as brass, copper, glass or ceramic.
All his tables are unique and one of a kind and manufactured especially for a customer. All tables have stones or other special objects inserted that have been picked by the customer.
