A striking hand-crafted sculptural Brutalist coffee table where raw natural material meets refined modernist simplicity.

The substantial circular top is composed of richly textured natural stone, displaying an extraordinary palette of warm ochre, rust, earthy brown and subtle mineral grey tones. Its irregular surface, natural fissures and almost geological pattern give the table a beautifully primitive character — resembling an abstract landscape formed over time.

In deliberate contrast, the heavy stone top appears to float above three slender cylindrical brushed-metal legs. This restrained architectural base introduces a distinctly modernist element and gives the piece an unexpected visual lightness.

The design strongly recalls the material-driven work of Pia Manu, combined with the functional clarity and restrained industrial language associated with Martin Visser. Rather than overwhelming the natural material, the minimal metal construction allows the expressive stone surface to remain the undisputed focal point.

The combination of rugged stone, dark irregular edging and precise industrial metalwork places the table at the intersection of Brutalism, Organic Modernism and European sculptural design of the 1970s.

More than a functional coffee table, it presents itself as a piece of functional sculpture. Its exceptionally low proportions and impressive 101 cm diameter give the table a strong architectural presence, while the slender legs maintain a sense of balance and lightness.
