The cool, architectural chrome frame forms one continuous flowing line, while the seat and high backrest are entirely handwoven in natural cane (pitriet). The organic texture of the cane softens the strict geometry of the steel and gives the chairs an unusually light and elegant appearance.

The slightly curved high back follows the body beautifully, while the cantilever construction provides the subtle flexibility and comfort characteristic of a well-designed Freischwinger.
